referring to this book and making scarf

My wife loves knitted scarfs and I wanted to make one and gift her on her b’day. Though I never made any, I know basics of knitting because my mom was into knitting and when I was young I used to help her. So, when I was searching for knitting books, this one was free. So, got it.

This is very detailed book on knitting. I’m referring this book and making scarf. I’m almost done with it. I found this book is easy to follow. If you love knitting and want learn, you can refer to this one. Author has provided illustrations as well. Only thing is, author has to take care of formatting of this book but contents are really good.

I hope my wife likes my gift :).

I really love these sorts of books

I really love these sorts of books. So, when I saw a huge collection like this, I didn't want to miss the opportunity to get in on the fun. These books teach you everything you need to know from the bottom up on these different topics. I sometimes find it hard learning this sort of skill. However, with the step by step instructions and plenty of pictures I managed to follow along. I always saw other people making beautiful things and never thought that I could do it to. Well, that was until I read through these books!

Here are some basic techniques in knitting. And I'm so grateful in this book for allowing me to learn this wonderful knitting lessons. Nowadays, knitting is practical craft for decoration and lifestyle purposes. If your looking for knitting tutorial. • Zambonis and Mistletoe is a cute story to get you in the mood for Christmas, but it can be appreciated year round. Set in Pittsburgh, this contemporary sports romance is suitable to both new adult and adult audiences. There are a lot of cute Christmas scenarios throughout the book. I love that both Nick and Rylee hear sleigh bells throughout the story. Nick is very creative with the many ways he surprises Rylee. His actions are very impressive and swoon-worthy. I enjoyed the various signs and symbolism in the story. Zambonis and Mistletoe is a touching story that is perfect for the holidays.
  
  While you could follow this book as a stand-alone, I would at least read book three first because we are introduced to Rylee there. - Diane

Hi, I am a big fan of holiday movies on the Hallmark channel, and always wanted to write my own story with all the joy, love and happily ever after of a Christmas television movie. That's where Nick and Rylee came into my life. I tried to include some Christmas magic, and "ghosts" from Rylee's past. I always try to put a little of me in my books, and this one in particular has Rylee's grandparents, who I wrote similar to mine. Also, Rylee can't cook, and neither can I, lol.

Zambonis and Mistletoe isn't going to be a heavy and emotional read. (Well, missing her grandfather and the signs that he's still there might require you to have a tissue near.) It's meant to be light and sweet and make you want to run out, put up the Christmas tree and make some cookies! (Can't you smell the Christmas cookies now?)

A great Christmas read!

There is just something I love about Christmas romances...this book is no different! I loved Rylee from the previous book and was very glad she got her own love. Rylee is Paige's best friend and during an event for the Renegades, she was made to write a wish list for Santa. Unfortunately shortly after this she slips on the hockey ice and hurts her ankle. This brings her into the sight of Nick, the general manager of the Renegades. The attraction is mutual even though Rylee is still dealing with some issues in her past. Nick does whatever he can to help her while her ankle is healing and just be around her. Will Nick win her over? Will Christmas magic take over? Will Rylee's wish list be granted by Christmas morning?

Loved this hockey/Christmas story

I was so excited to read Rylee's story and it was everything I wanted and more. If you haven't read Playing the Game, I HIGHLY recommend reading it...but then I HIGHLY recommend the whole series.

Rylee and Nick's attraction begins from the first meeting, but there are connections, an emotional attachment from Rylee's past that makes it difficult for her to move on. I was caught up in this story, I laughed and cried while reading it. Rylee's turmoil ripped through me at times, making me hope and hope some more that she would be able to let it go. There is so much in this story I would like to point out that makes Melody an exceptional writer but I don't want to ruin the plot for anyone. Let me just say, that this book got me in the mood for Christmas. Once I finished it, we decorated our house and I started singing all those carols I love so much! My husband was so happy to see me feeling the holidays that he read it as well and is now reading the series. It is a feel good story, one that I will read over and over!

Melody Heck Gatto’s Zambonis and Mistletoe is a cute story to get you in the mood for Christmas, but it can be appreciated year round. Set in Pittsburgh, this contemporary sports romance is suitable to both new adult and adult audiences.

Renegades PR assistant Paige Martin (from book 3) invites her best friend, Rylee Davis, to a game. After the event, Paige takes Rylee down to the ice where she twists her ankle and then meets Renegades General Manager, Nick Talon. In book three, we learn that Rylee dated Paige’s brother, Scott, who passed away. Since then she never had another relationship.

There are a lot of cute Christmas scenarios throughout the book. I love that both Nick and Rylee hear sleigh bells throughout the story. Nick is very creative with the many ways he surprises Rylee. His actions are very impressive and swoon-worthy. He is a good guy who is very respectable. I enjoyed the various signs and symbolism in the story. Zambonis and Mistletoe is a touching story that is perfect for the holidays.

While you could follow this book as a stand-alone, I would at least read book three first because we are introduced to Rylee there.

My Favourite Childrens book

A teacher at school read Rebecca's World to us as a class when i was 9, at the time the environmental theme wasn't apparent becasue it was before people realised the problem. I recommend this book to everyone, particularly to teachers, because everyone I know who ever read it as a child rates it as amongst their favourite book. I wouldn't say that this book changed my life (except for spending far too much time in second hand bookshops trying to find a copy) but even when i read it now, it sparks off my imagination. Any book which makes you want to know the characters better is great in my book, and I'm still sad when the story ends because I want to know more about the world, and the characters. I eventually found a copy, and it is one of my most treasured possessions, probably more so because the child who owned it before me carefully coloured in the map at the front, and the pictures at the back. This should be on every childs reading list.

This is a fantasic story

As a teenager I found this book to be an inspiration and a joy. I cannot remember the times I spent cold winter evenings in the company of Rebecca and her quest to save the last tree from the sinister creatures of her fantasy world. I would recommend this book to anybody who has an intrest in science fiction, science fantasy or the environment. I've lost my copy of this book now, but hopefully I can regain a copy and again read of Rebecca's journey. I have always vowed to share this story with my children, soon I hope this to be a reality. Read this book, you could do a lot worse for teenage fiction these days, but you couldn't do much better. Fantastic..

Excellent, a childhood classic indeed. It's because of Terry Nation that Peter Pan gave it all up for neverending childhood... the kind of story with warmth and vision that children will remember for a lifetime.

Romantic Quickie Read

I'll admit that it was the title of this book that caught my attention. Without the obligatory descriptives of Billionaire, Sheik, Prince, Virgin or Secret Baby this book fairly jumped out from the shelf at Target right into my hot little hands.

In fact, I didn't even read the back cover before buying it, that's how enamoured I was at the thought of reading a Harlequin Presents without a secret baby/Billionaire Sheik storyline.

Well, for once my impulsive choice paid off. I liked this book. The heroine is a prettier than average woman and she knows it. She doesn't humble herself imagining that men are looking at her for any other reason than to ogle her hour glass figure. Her attributes cause her some trouble in the workplace and immediately I felt a sisterly bond. It's hard to have boobs and work with highly sexed men who seem to assume just the presence of breasts are an unequivocal sex invite. Such is the life for our dauntless heroine, Maya.

When the book starts out she's having a rotten dinner with her lecherous boss Jonathan and several other business associates. What's worse is that she's wearing a dress about a size too small and her boss, starts in with the flirting and naked foot rubbing under the table, so obvious. Just a sidenote, I knew a boy in school named Jonathan who used to get in trouble for taking his shoes off in class and stinking up the room with nasty foot odor. Anyway, the name Jonathan, for me anyway, is synonymous with smelly feet. So, back to the story, Maya, in an effort to avoid said foot rubber, sets off in search of a bathroom. Instead she finds the hero.

Now here's where the witty banter and sexual tension starts. With several cleverly baiting comments the hero manages to disturb Maya. I just love this! This is the reason I read romance.

So, onward, our hero maneuvers the situation so that he is Maya's boss and well, I can't say what happens next 'cause that would ruin the story.

So, all in all, I enjoyed this book which is more than I can say for most of the HP's I've read lately.

Totally Enjoyable

Maggie Cox books are new to me but after reading this one which I totally enjoyed, I'll be looking for more. You can feel the immediate attraction between Blaise and Maya. What I really liked about this storyline is that the heroine did not throw herself at the hero even when she needed a job and she has his business card. He could have any woman he wanted, but yet he had to make the first move and go in search of her. This book is definitely one to keep and one I will most definitely read again.

Not as good as some of her others. I wish her characters were more developed. A decent light, easy read, but could use some more depth.
